This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Willis of Parramatta in the County of Cumberland in the Colony of New South, Carrier. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rose Willis all the lands tenements and hereditaments goods and Chattels which I may die possessed of including my two dwelling houses situate respectively in Church Street and Sorel Street in the town of Parramatta, Furniture Horses Cattle Drays Carts and Harness and all other property whatsoever and I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Rose Willis and my friend James Galloway of Parramatta aforesaid Landholder and Dealer Executrix and Executor of this my Will revoking all former Wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set and subscribed my hand and seal this twenty first day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty nine. Joseph Willis X his mark and seal. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Joseph Willis the testator as and for his last Will in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto the said Will having been slowly and carefully read over and explained to the said Joseph Willis before he executed the same. 4 February 1856. This day on Petition Probate of the last Will and testament of Joseph Willis deceased was granted to Rose Willis and James Galloway the Executrix and Executor in the said Will. Named Testator died 30 August 1853 Goods sworn under One Hundred Pound. Probate dated the same day as granted.
